Vince Tutton

September 20 - 28  2010
Mixed Media/Exploring Possibilities

Those of you who are familiar with the work of Vince Tutton realize that, as well as
respecting the importance of developing skills in the use of a single medium, he finds the use of combinations of pencil, charcoal, chalk pastel, gouache, acrylics, photographs and writing the ideal vehicle for his present work. The intention of this workshop is to allow participants to explore the many possibilities offered by such media. Introductory experimental sessions will be offered to encourage the use of the media in ongoing personal explorations. Vince fully expects that some of you may prefer to concentrate on the use of just one drawing or painting technique to develop your ideas; appropriate tuition will be provided for this.

Vince Tutton has taught in secondary school, Colleges of Further Education, Community Art, Therapy in Hospital. 1986/7 he was awarded the Fulbright Scholarship, USA/UK Exchange Programme, Miami and 1994/5 The Residency in Painting at Foundation Valparaiso, Spain.
Vince has exhibited his work widely in the UK and abroad.
